Jodi & Tempe At Barn - Facing Cam.jpg

Buffalo Medicine is Musical Medicine. Original music that is timeless in its appeal and beautifully positive in its message. This music is lyrically profound and filled with thoughtful moving melodies. These rhythmic and magical tunes are played on guitar and accompanied by ancient instruments such as the Native American Flute, Shaman Drum, Frame Drum, Didgeridoo, Gourd and Deer Hoof rattles, and Shamanic Dance Bells. Soaring vocals and powerful vocal chanting bring this music to life. The sacred world of our Ancestors is connected to our modern world in a way that can only be described as a ceremony. Buffalo Medicine literally means to connect Creator to earth, and earth to Creator.

Burning white Sage, drumming, chanting, dancing, and singing are all a part of the Buffalo Medicine musical journey. It's not just a concert, it's a musically spiritual experience.

Tempe RedHawk is the vocalist, musician, and songwriter for Buffalo Medicine. She is a certified Reiki Master, Shaman, and Spiritual intuitive. She has a healing and counseling practice based in the foothills of the magnificent Blue Ridge mountains.

Jodi Leppo is the Native American Flute player and the percussionist for Buffalo Medicine. She has played NAF for over ten years and loves sharing this spiritual instrument with others. She is the band's heartbeat as she plays drum and percussion, and delivers strong beats to the music.

Jodi and Tempe own Gypsy Road Ranch in North Georgia. Surrounded by their horses, dogs, and cats, they enjoy a life of adventure, and precious time spent out in the wilderness. Jodi and Tempe are artists who create art that reflects their love of nature and the Native American people.
